From Chongqing to the Loop
Our owner was born in Chongqing, where the noodle stalls never sleep. He has cooked all his life: Sichuan kitchens in China, then in America from the day he arrived, rising from simple kitchen worker to head chef. Traveling, he found authentic Sichuan street-food flavors incredibly hard to come by, so he opened Noodle Story to share them, bringing a slice of China's rich food culture to America.
Step inside and you'll hear it before you taste it: broth at a rolling boil, the boba shaker rattling by the door, two floors of tables trading stories over steaming bowls. Eating here feels like ducking into a busy noodle shop down the street, the kind where old friends and new ones end up at the same table.
